Both standard exterior and "partitioned" interior applications requiring high light transmission and visibility are satisfied by utilizing the durable and attractive Model 902.

 

FEATURES

Quality Assurance - Door shall be aluminum sectional overhead type as manufactured for Clopay Building Products. Each door is provided as one complete unit including sections, brackets, tracks, counterbalance mechanisms, hardware (list options) to suit the opening and headroom available. Standard maximum size 20'2" width x 16'0" high with DSB and Plexiglas, 16'2" wide x 16'0" high with ½" insulated and wire glass.

Materials and Construction - Sections to be 2-1/8" thick (6053-TS) anodize or prepainted extruded aluminum with reinforcing integral fin. Enclosed top and bottom rails to be 3 ½" wide. Meeting rails 2 13/16" wide, and end stiles 3 1/2" wide. Meetings rails to form a tongue and groove join. Panel options include .050" anodized or prepainted aluminum ½" insulated 1/8" DSB and 1/8" wire glass. Panels or glass are sealed with butyl tape and secured with a locking retainer. Glazing or aluminum panels are pre0installed and shipped as one complete unit. Astragal to be U-shaped PVC vinyl.

Hardware - Rollers to have ten ball steel full floating ball bearings in case-hardened steel races, mounted to fit the taper of the track. Roller hinges to be minimum 14-gauge and top and bottom brackets to be minimum 12-gauge galvanized steel.

Spring Counterbalance - Door assembly to be operated by a torsion spring counterbalance mechanism with a helically wound, oil tempered torsion spring mounted on a galvanized steel tube or solid steel shaft as required. Cable drums are die cast aluminum width high strength aircraft cable with minimum 7 to 1 safety factor.

Locking - Inside spring loaded slide bolt lock on end stile shall engage slot in track.

Wind Loading - Contact factory for specific wind loading requirements

OPTIONS

  1. Glazing ½" insulated, .050" anodized or prepainted aluminum, 1/8" Plexiglas 1/4" wire glass and 1/8" DSB glass. Consult factory for other options.
  2. Track - Vertical lift, follow the roof slope, high lift and low headroom track available. Two inch, follow the roof slope, high lift and low headroom track available. Two inch and three inch tracks as required.
  3. Exhaust Ports - Available in bottom aluminum panel.
  4. Finishes - High luster, clear anodized, or prepainted white or brown standard; medium bronze and anodized optional. Other finishes available - contact factory.
  5. Mullions - Carry-away and roll away available on doors to 14' high (2" track only).
  6. Weatherstripping - Complete perimeter seals available in various materials.
  7. Oversized Doors - Larger doors available. Consult Clopay Commercial Sales 1-800-526-4301.
  8. Installation - Install door including sections, brackets, guides, tracks, etc. in accordance with final shop drawings (if required) and instructions by Clopay Building Products Company.
